OVAL stands for Our Vision for Asian Leadership. It is an organization voluntarily formed by Korean, Chinese, and Japanese university students willing to broaden their scopes from East Asia to the whole globe. It is established to provide a global platform where potential partners from each three country can actively interact and share brilliant ideas. OVAL is composed of OVAL KOREA, OVAL JAPAN, and OVAL CHINA. Each division has Staff members, who organize and host OVAL's activities and Participants, who take part in OVAL International Business Contest.
OVAL(Our Vision for Asian Leadership) yearly holds Staff Exchange Program and International Business Contest.
Staff Exchange Program is held by three countries’ staff members to prepare for the upcoming IBC and to talk about agendas on how to further promote the organization itself. In this period, there are mainly section meetings but also sightseeing and culture exchange programs are arranged.
International Business Contest is about each student from Korea, Japan and China form a group to build a business plan about a given topic. They engage in competition in good faith with other teams, get feedback from professionals, go out in fieldwork for market research and establish their own ideas. Among 30 teams, 3 teams are awarded. According to the given topic, as the business contest requires constructing a specific plan, they are to work over business tasks close to reality such as: case analysis, idea proposals, opinion decision process and formal presentation. Moreover, through the cooperation between three participants from each country, students can gain a chance to experience culture exchange.
